WINE GETS BETTER WITH TIME

Born on 24 April . 1973 in streets of Mumbai with a dream to wear Indian colors. It is every Indian’s dream to play for the Indian cricket team but only few get there. Many did , but the one who made it big was Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar . He begun playing cricket at the age of 8 , but it was in 1988 when he and Vinod Kambli appeared on the national front by posting a record partnership for any wicket in an inter school cricket tournament of 664 runs. At the age of 16 he was padded against the lights of Waquar younis , Imran Khan and Wasim Akram in Karachi where he played his first test match. His first outing in Indian colors was not so appealing but it was preparation for the best to come. Series came by and sachin matured as a player and as a sportsman , known for his humble on field attitude sachin can best be described as a legend who is just like a surgeon with the cricket bat due to his clinical approach . Described as a run machine sachin holds all the major records in world cricket , may it be most international runs in both forms of the game , most centuries , most number of one day matches and THE ONLY BATSMAN TO SCORE A DOUBLE CENTURY IN A ONE DAY INTERNATIONAL . He has served the country for two decades and has never backed down , about to be 37 sachin still sprints like a teenager wearing Indian colors for the first time . All accolades he received are not justice to what his desire for the game is , getting in the cricket field for 20 years with the same attitude , zeal , vigor demands a sound character . Its not yet the end just the beginning of another era , another decade , another year of mind-blowing cricket by the 5ft 5” canon.
